CINCINNATI — Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) announced this morning that it has withdrawn its supplemental new drug application for Cymbalta from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). LLY’s Cymbalta is used for the management of chronic pain. LLY noted that it intends to resubmit the application in the first half of 2009.
